Dr. Fayroz Arif Sabah
Dr. Fayroz Arif Sabah is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at School of Physics, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia. She obtained her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Laser & Optoelectronics Engineering from Al-Nahrain University, Baghdad, Iraq in 2001, 2004, respectively, and Ph.D. degree in Laser & Optoelectronics Engineering from the School of Physics, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang, Malaysia in 2017. She has a membership in Iraqi Engineers Union, Iraqi Laser Society, SAISE, ARID and Organic Polymer Material Research as Editorial Board Member. She has 37 research papers published in scientific journals of repute besides two book chapters. Her work has been presented in several local and international conferences. She has supervised many undergraduate students. Dr. Fayroz research interests include nanomaterials fabrication and characterization, laser physics, design & applications, optoelectronics, photonic crystal fiber (PCF), thin film EGFET for sensors, thin film deposition using CO2 laser and multilayer characteristics, supercapacitors, glucose biosensors, polymer light emitting applications, etc. She is a reviewer in many ISI journals.
