Prof. Dr Safaa O. Al-mamory

Prof. Dr Safaa O. Al-mamory was born in Babylon, Iraq. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq, in 1999 and 2002, respectively. He got Ph.D. degree in Computer Architecture from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2009. In 2003, he joined the Department of Computer Science, University of Babylon, as an Assistant Lecturer, and in 2011 became an Assistant Professor, then became Professor at 2020. Since February 2015, he is the dean of Business Informatics College at University of Information Technology and Communications. His research interests cover data mining and network monitoring, with over 40 publications in Thompson Reuters journals, Scopus journal, and several international conferences. He is the founder of E-learning at University of Babylon and did several projects for the same university and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq. He is a member of the Editorial Board for many local and international journals and conference. He was a supervisor for many postgraduate students and a member or a chair of many examination community of postgraduate students in various Iraqi universities. He published more than 50 researches in many local and international journals including Elsevier, springer and IEEE.
